OMG...I have a set of these too! I was in the same swap! I haven't done anything with mine either...to the point of wondering whether I should have even bothered participating. I guess I should dig them out and make them into something wonderful, like you did...
I love those TINY sewing blocks!
What a great way to use the signature blocks. I love the on point setting with the sashing. I've not seen a bag like this before - very creative!
What a great way to set those little siggie blocks! The sashing is a gorgeous colour and it's a great bag - I love it :-)
Thank you for your kind words, friends. I don't have one of your blocks Carolyn. The patterns were from an internet foundation piecing group but I don't think it's still going. The patterns were provided by the people who ran the list and now put out the mag Quilts With Style. I made the bag pattern up to be large enough to carry and quilt for hand quilting and a hoop. It took me a little while as I didn't have a pattern.
cute, cute, cute. I love the sewing notions theme of these! That would be nice to do in a quilt group. Hmm, I missed that swap! I used to do a lot of them, but haven't done any in 2-3 years.
How creative! You really did a nice job on your bag. Way to go!

What a neat idea to make those into a bag!
Your sidebar looks great!
