Latest finish

This is the quilt of cross stitched sqs for an Aussie boy with a life threatening illness. He'd asked for a Clown's theme and it was lovely and colourful.
Love Quilts organizes stitchers to cross stitch sqs for the kids, based on their chosen theme and I was honoured to make the quilt. Quilts are made for kids in the US, Germany, Brazil and Australia. Now off to work again. I worked all of Easter on night shift so not much work done on the blog.

What a lovely quilt. I am sure it will please the receiver very much and be of great comfort. Are all the clowns hand stitched or are there a mix of hand stitching and machine stitching ?

Very cute - the red sashing frames the blocks well.

I love seeing your donation quilts - many of mine are made to be donated too.

What a wonderful project to be involved in, Jan Mac. The boy who gets the quilt will be thrilled but what a tough way to go to get one.

Wow, what a lot of clowns! And cross stitch can give such wonderful detail. It is great - I am sure the little boy will love it and it will give him some cheer.

Cheers!

Love quilts are a wonderful cause - I've sent them one cross stitched square, for 'any child' but never kept with it, because I don't do much cross stitch.

The quilt is adorable.
