I mainly quilt for charity and at the moment I'm sending quilts to the local women's refuge, East Timor orphanages, people affected by the Asian tsuanmi Dec 2004, and the Pakistan earthquakes Oct 2005. I also make and send crocheted woollen blankets, knitted hats, scarves, shawls, baby clothes etc.

I love this idea of "sampler rows". The birdhouse in the bottom row in particular made me smile...
Great quilt Jan! Glad you are back to posting too! I cannot believe that i MISSED so much of the Australian Open! GOSH...I LIVE for the Grand Slams...where was my head???
